Yesterday was a good day following up with the Cut Mountain community and meeting people I missed last round. We need your help. Many may not agree with houseless encampments in places families used to enjoy. This is where the American Government fails our people. You talk to any one of them. They’ve been through the programs but they’ve never worked for the majority. We still looking for ʻāina but until then we work with what we have. Our hearts and our dedication. Providing essential help and hope to the homeless of Maui

We at Maui Rescue Mission understand that each person’s situation is different. We also understand that without hope and basic human needs being met, life change is nearly impossible. Our approach is to provide basic needs like a private hot shower, personal hygiene items, clean clothes and connections to other resources with dignity, compassion and consistency. By building a trusting relationship with each of our guests we provide a support system that gives our guests hope and encouragement when they need it most.
