Stronger Together 🤝“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10Every day we witness the truth of these words through the partnerships that stand beside us in serving our unhoused neighbors. No one organization can meet every need alone — but together, we lift, restore, and create pathways toward hope. When one of us grows weary, another steps in.When resources run low, generosity fills the gap. When someone falls, there are hands ready to help them rise again. To our partner organizations, volunteers, churches, agencies, and community members: Mahalo for walking alongside us. Your compassion, collaboration, and commitment make a real and lasting impact.Together, we are not just meeting needs — we are strengthening a community where no one has to stand alone. ... Maui Rescue Mission
For the past two weeks, we have operated a modified outreach at our new location, providing meals, fellowship, donations, and vital resources to our unhoused neighbors. Attendance has ranged from 16–32 guests, compared to up to 46 served at our previous site.Today brought renewed excitement as the shower and laundry trailer returned — restoring a critical service that brings dignity, comfort, and hope to those we serve. We were also blessed with an incredible day of donations. Our team received an outpouring of support, and we are deeply grateful for the generosity of our community and partners who continue to stand with us. ... See MoreSee Less

Maui Rescue Mission
This week’s storms and power outages deeply impacted both our housed and unhoused neighbors. In the midst of disruption and uncertainty, we witnessed something powerful — stronger connections forming across our community.Through these challenges, we have built new relationships and strengthened existing partnerships that will allow us to provide more consistent and expanded resources at our outreaches in the coming weeks.Where some see impossibility, we see opportunity — the breaking down of barriers between like-minded organizations, and a clearer path forward together.Even in the storm, hope moves. ... Providing essential help and hope to the homeless of Maui

We at Maui Rescue Mission understand that each person’s situation is different. We also understand that without hope and basic human needs being met, life change is nearly impossible. Our approach is to provide basic needs like a private hot shower, personal hygiene items, clean clothes and connections to other resources with dignity, compassion and consistency. By building a trusting relationship with each of our guests we provide a support system that gives our guests hope and encouragement when they need it most.

Join us as a volunteer, donor or partner to bring hope and tangible help across the island of Maui.
